Tell us a little bit about yourself!
The Braschler’s are travel enthusiasts, foodies, and active community members. Ben works in commercial insurance, and Amy sits on the Village’s DDA Board.

How long have you lived in the Village?
Two Years

What brought you to live in the Village?
We wanted to live in a thriving lakeshore community with great schools. Spring Lake checked all the boxes for us.

What are your hobbies?
We love to spend time outdoors throughout all four seasons, but we especially love our summers here in Spring Lake.

What are your favorite Village businesses and why?
For the variety of their menu and multitude of service options (indoor, outdoor, & coffee shop), we are big fans of The Village Baker.

What is your favorite hidden gem in the Village?
Spring Lake District Library has been a huge highlight for us. Not only do they offer great resources and activities for our daughters, but for adults as well. They also offer great events and programming. Truly, one of our favorite things about the village.

Where is your favorite place to spend time in the Village?
Lakeside Beach has to come in at the top. It is within walking distance for us via the bike path, has clean restrooms, and brings all the fun of a day at the beach into a quick five-minute walk.

What do you like most about living in the Village of Spring Lake?
We love being a part of an active community. And, the ease of access to other cities, like Grand Rapids, Holland, and Up North also has made it very convenient to live here as well.

Anything else you’d like to add?
It has been so fun to watch this community grow in the short time we have been here. Seeing such positive changes, like the Farmer’s Market and Splash Pad have been wonderful additions to the community. We are very excited to see what future positive changes will come and how we can help be a part of the growth.

Thanks again to the Braschlers for sharing a little about their Village story and their family!
