The ‘Why the Fly’ mural was created in 2022 and is located at Tanglefoot Park in Spring Lake. The fly in the mural gives a nod to the park’s history and why it is there today. The land for the park was gifted to the Village by the Thum family around the turn of the last century. The family made their fortune through their company – Tanglefoot Flypaper.
