Lakeside Trail is paved and maintained bike path wraps around beautiful Spring Lake. The 15-mile bike path has public restrooms along the way at Central Park in Spring Lake, in Fruitport at Pamona Park, at William Ferry Park in Ferrysburg, and at Rycenga Park just west of Spring Lake. Lakeside Beach is a half block off the trail and also has bathrooms available from June to September. Drinking fountains exist at all of the above locations plus at Lake Avenue and Whistle Stop Park in Spring Lake.
Lakeside Trail continues into and continues into the North Bank Trail, provided by Spring Lake Township, which is a continuation of the Rail-Trail that extends east 3.3 miles into Spring Lake and Crockery Townships. When you cross over the north side of the US-31 drawbridge, the trail system connects with the 15-mile Lakeside Trail, which encircles Spring Lake through the communities of Ferrysburg, Fruitport, and the Village of Spring Lake. Trails in the Village of Spring Lake also lead to the new NorthBank Trail and the Grand River GreenwayTrail with views of the Grand River.
