The Central Park Players has been the local theater group for the Tri-Cities for over 50 years. CPP is a 501(c)3 non-profit and is run by passionate volunteers and performers.
Traditionally, CPP’s productions take place in Grand Haven at the Community Center. With all of the excitement happening in the Village the past few years, the Central Park Players are looking to branch out and bring some live theater across the bridge to Spring Lake.
The first production CPP would like to bring to the Village is Alice in Wonderland. This would be a family-friendly show that would debut at Mill Point Park along the Grand River.
Alice in Wonderland is slated to take place Saturday, August 20th, 2022. There will be a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at 6pm, where guests will be served tea & treats by their favorite characters. The play will start at 7pm. Families can bring a picnic dinner, blankets, chairs, and more and pick out their own spot at Mill Point Park to enjoy the show.
While the event will be ticketed ($10/adults & $5/youth), sponsorships are needed to cover the cost of the play rights & royalties, scripts, costumes, set, sound, music, and more.
