It’s back! Save the date for the return of The Great Village Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8th, 2023!
Invite your friends, family, and customers to join you on the hunt – the hunt lasts until the last egg is found!
Village Hall will be open from 8am – 2pm so that prize eggs can be redeemed.
Why are we doing this? Because it’s fun! And it’s an Easter egg hunt for all ages. Last year hundreds of people visited the Village to try their luck at hunting for one of the prize eggs. The hunt isn’t over until the last egg has been found.
How many eggs will we fill this year? Well, it depends! We are reaching out to local businesses and organizations for prize donations. The more prizes we gather, the more eggs we will fill and hide around the Village of Spring Lake. Last year, we had over 150 prizes donated and filled hundreds of eggs full of candy.
Our friends at All Shores Wesleyan Church will be hiding a 1,000 eggs along the bike path behind their campus through out the day.
NEW THIS YEAR! Thanks to the Boy Scouts, we will have a traditional egg hunt at Tanglefoot Park at noon on Saturday, April 8th. Kids 6 & under are welcome to join in!
PLEASE NOTE: this is not your average Easter Egg Hunt. Since we receive so many awesome prize donations, we won’t make the eggs easy to find. This is a fun event for families and friends to participate in together. Come on out to the Village of Spring Lake and enjoy some fresh air, play in our parks, visit local businesses, and have some fun! If you want to make sure your kids find an egg, we suggest bringing some sneaky eggs to hide while the kids aren’t looking.
We are currently looking for event sponsorships and prize & candy donations.
The Great Village Egg Hunt is presented by the Village of Spring Lake’s Downtown Development Authority (DDA).
