Food lovers are invited to join Howard Norris, chef and author, at SLDL as Norris talks about his recently released book “As I Peel the Parsnips: The Journey of a Chef.” Part memoir and part cookbook, the work includes mouthwatering recipes as well as tips and techniques for the home cook. Attendees will be treated to samples of two recipes from the book: spiced pecans and white chocolate, cranberry and macadamia nut cookies. A book signing will follow the presentation.
