The Village Adventure is an exciting opportunity for folks to visit Spring Lake, enjoy our parks & trails and learn more about living the Spring Lake Life! This is the day to get on your bike and RIDE!!!

Saturday, May 4th from 9:30 – 11:30am we’ll be kicking things off with Weiss Chiropractic at the Whistle Stop Park for juice, fruit, muffins and Biggby Coffee for the big kids! It’s a Little Art in the Park project where kids can decorate the trails with chalk drawings! Speaking of “drawings” at 11:00am Weiss will be giving away a kid’s bike trailer that attaches to mom or dad’s bike! Kids – bring your decorated bikes for the Park to Park Pedal Parade and get a free bike safety flag! At 11:30 the Parade begins and you’re off to the Picnic!

Pedal down the Lakeside Trail to Central Park where the Pedal, Picnic & Play Day continues from 12:00 until 3:pm. We can all gear up to enjoy the warmer weather by getting a free bike tune up courtesy of Breakaway Bikes, or getting your little ones trained in Bike Safety at the Bike Rodeo. Get up and get moving with music by Rich Burkholder, and enjoy food, fun and prizes from local vendors. There will be $1 Hot Dogs from Butches Beach Burritos! Old Boys Brew House is bringing the Rootbeer and Kanine Krunchies for the pups! And prepare yourself for Village Baker Pretzels! New to our Picnic, we’re welcoming Pixie Doodles, an art magazine for and by kids! Bring your creativity because there will be art projects galore! Create and share your art with Pixie Doodles – you could be the next Pixie’s Prodigy!

Don’t forget it wouldn’t be the Pedal, Picnic & Play Day without the BIG BIKE/GET MOVING GIVEAWAY! We have seven Village Businesses giving away amazing prizes to get you moving!
